WITH TASHA
14-year-old Tasha has the opportunity to become Uganda’s first known heart transplant recipient.
Her life-saving transplant will take place in India — and together, we can help get her there.

Tasha is living with end-stage heart failure. Her only chance for long-term survival is a heart transplant — a procedure that has never before been received by a known Ugandan patient.
Now, an extraordinary door has opened. Tasha has the opportunity to travel to India, where she can undergo the extensive evaluation and medical care necessary to move toward a life-saving heart transplant.
Her family and community in Uganda are already stepping forward to help. Together with partners around the world, we have the opportunity to come alongside them and help give Tasha something every 14-year-old deserves: a future.
And for the first time, that chance is within reach.
