WHY SOULCARE?
WE CREATE WHAT WE ARE
When leaders heal,
they create spaces where
others can heal.
When leaders thrive,
thriving spreads.
When leaders live with hope,
hope becomes contagious.
Leaders spend their lives carrying the weight of others. The people they serve, the fundraising, the overwhelming need, the stories of suffering. All on top of leading organizations and programs to bring healing to the world.
Too often, the people who spend their lives caring for the world do not get the care and healing they so desperately need and deserve.
We believe the health of a leader shapes the health of an organization, team, family and community they influence.

RETREAT
STEP AWAY, BE CARED FOR
SoulCare Retreats are intentionally designed spaces where leaders can step away from responsibility and simply receive.
Beautiful places. Thoughtful care. Good food.
Laughter. Rest. Honest conversations. Gifts that say we see you. And people who understand the weight of the work.
For a few days, the woman who normally cares for everyone else gets to be the one cared for.
You are loved and worth loving.

RESTORE
Come Away. Breathe Again.
Sometimes a leader doesn’t need another conference, training, or retreat.
She needs a few days where nobody needs anything from her.
SoulCare Restoration Experiences create space for a leader to step away with someone she loves — a spouse, best friend, or someone who helps carry the weight of life and leadership.
No agenda to accomplish and nothing to learn.
Just beauty. Adventure. Rest. Play. Good food. Deep breaths. And room to reconnect.
Come tired. Leave lighter.
Healthy leaders - Healthy Families - Healthy Organizations = A Healing World
Sanctuary
Mountains + Home
A few days tucked away in Colorado. Slow mornings. Beautiful meals. Fires. Mountains. Adventure when you want it. Absolutely nothing when you don't.
A SoulCare Sister can come with the person she most needs to reconnect with — or, when family connection is what her soul needs most, bring her family.

Rest Ahoy
Water + Adventure
A few days away onboard a boat. Springs. Islands. Swimming. Snorkeling. Dolphins. Sunsets. Shared meals. Adventure. Laughter. And plenty of time to simply be.
Rest Ahoy is designed for a leader + 1 person who has helped carry the load along with our hosting couple. Intentionally designed time for each group.

HAVE A PLACE THAT COULD BECOME A PLACE OF REST?
Share Your Space.
Your second home might be part of someone's healing.
If you have a cabin, condo, beach house, lake house, mountain home - or simply a beautiful place that sits empty sometimes - we'd love to talk about occasionally using it to give nonprofit leaders the break they so desperately need. You choose how many people you’re comfortable hosting, whether it’s best suited for adults or a family, and how many days you’d like to make it available. We’ll take care of matching the space with leaders who need rest.
HEAL
Some Things Need More Than Rest.
Sometimes a few days away is exactly what is needed. And sometimes leaders need deeper healing to process the level of secondary trauma their bodies / souls have been exposed to.
SoulCare helps leaders go deeper — creating spaces for honest conversations, providing grants for therapy, and building relationships that continue long after a retreat ends.
"The expectation that we can be immersed in suffering and loss daily and not be touched by it is as unrealistic as expecting to be able to walk through water without getting wet." -Dr. Rachel Naomi Remen
EQUIP
BETTER TOGETHER
No more reinventing the wheel.
Some of the best wisdom in nonprofit leadership doesn’t live in a textbook. It lives in leaders who have tried things, learned things, gotten things wrong, figured out what works — and are willing to share it.
SoulCare creates spaces for leaders to learn from one another, share practical tools, access coaching and resources, and build healthier organizations without constantly reinventing the wheel.
Because good stewardship means sharing what we've all learned.
Our private SoulCare Resource Library is a growing collection of practical tools, templates, trainings and resources created and shared by leaders doing the work.
For SoulCare Sisters and approved nonprofit leaders who agree to our shared best practices and contribute to the community.
